Netgear Wireless PC Card

Guest

I was installing the software for a Netgear Wireless PC Card I just bought from CompUSA. After installation, I put the PC Card in my laptop (Sony Gr390) and there is a warning that said, NetGear Ma521 802.11b Wireless PC Card has not passed Windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with WindowXP

It also said Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing

Please help.

The manual that comes with my Netgear WLAN device says to ignore the
message...
