We are trying to connect a Vista laptop wirelessy to the named router. We can connect wirelessy via an XP computer.

We think it is something to do with Vista, since I had the exact same problem with that router.

Is there any solutions? we can't seem to find any software for the Vista laptop that would help in finding the router.

Thanks for any suggestions
 
We did sort the problem,

It wasn't something we of sorted ourselves; Phoned up Netgear and they had to configure the router online because they hadn't had any software that 'read' Vista laptops :rolleyes:

Oh well, problem solved.

Glad you got it working :) I've had problems with Vista and wireless networks too, seems to be quite common unfortunately.

Its actually easier to connect to wireless devices on Vista if the device is compatible with Vista. :rolleyes:
