Netgear MA101 Wireless USB Network Adapter Connection Issues

Hi, I have the Netgear WGR614 connected to DSL on a WinXP machine. I
also have the Netgear MA101 USB network adapter. I have used the
MA101 on my notebook and it works great. However, I have another
desktop running WinXP I want to use it on.

When I installed the USB adapter on the desktop, it says "one or more
wireless networks are available" in the little pop up balloon. So far
so good. I click the balloon and my network is there. I check the
box "connect even thought it's not secure" and the "let windows
configure your wireless..." is also checked at the top of the window.
When I click connect, nothing happens. A few seconds later, the
balloon pops up again with the message "one or more wireless networks
are available" and the process repeats itself over and over.

If I hilight the network in the configuration box (after clicking the
balloon) and hit REFRESH, the little circles show up around the little
antenna icon, so I do believe I'm receiving the signal. If I hover
over the network connection icon in the tray, it says connection GOOD.
However, I can't access the internet or the network. The balloon
just keeps reoccurring and it's an endless loop. I can't seem to
connect to the wireless router.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does your network require a WEP key? I get this behavior if you don't
supply a WEP key when it is required...
