This means that the login account on the client you are connecting from does
not have sufficient rights to the printer share.

Hello,

I just had the same problem on an WinXP Pro SP1 Machine. The answer
that I received was approx:

ltp1 is a system resource of the pc, so you must have admin rights OR
you can disable lpt1 in the system BIOS, however, then you will not be
able to connect and use a printer/dongle whatever there (net use
lpt1.... will work).

I managed to use lpt2 and lpt3 instead which work without any problem.

Strange enough, I've been using LPT1 for 3 years now on my Win2k SP4
UR1 Terminal Server without running into this problem - well, lucky me
:) Maybe the problem is only XP/2003 specific... whatever... I do not
know and I do not care as it works now for me.
