Net Send from Windows 2000 to XP Doesn't work

I'm running McAfee VirusScan on a Windows 2000 Server
which is configured with McAfee Alert Manager. I have
setup Alert Manager to send a Network Message when a
virus alert is generated to a Windows 2000 Professional
workstation and a XP Pro workstation. It quite happily
sends to the 2000 machine but for some reason does not
appear on any XP Machines.

Anyone know why?
 
Make sure the Messenger service is running on the XP clients.
