NET Framework 1.1 System.InvalidOperationException

RRE

Hi,

I receive the follwoing error message in an windows xp pro sp2 when starting
an application dependant on .NET Framework 1.1 sp1.

"System.InvalidOperationException: The performancecounter for the process
has been disabled.."
Then it's followed by several lines containing Syste.Diagnostics.Process and
System.Windows.Forms.

When running the same application on the same OS with the same Net Framework
and updates it works successfully.. It looks like it has to do something
with the Component services?

Can anyone advice or help?

thanks in advance

Regards,
Richard
