system.invalidoperationexception

Hello,

I've got an EXE file, which has Net Framework 3 as its condition.
On my computer with Windows XP SP3 and all versions of Net Framework
it does not run.
I receive the error message:

"EventType: clr20r3 P1: dictionary.exe P2: 1.0.0.0 P3:

P9: system.invalidoperationexception "

But on other computers with Windows XP it is running without problems.
On computers with Windows Vista it is running, too.

What may be the reason for not running on my system?
Can you give me some tips how to resolve this problem.

The information you've posted isn't even close to being enough to identify
a specific problem. The InvalidOperationException is far too general.

If you are the author of the code causing the exception, create a
concise-but-complete code example that reliably demonstrates the problem
and post that here. Then someone can actually see the context and
understand why the exception happens.

If you are not the author of the code causing the exception, then you need
to get the author involved. That person may be able to resolve the issue
on their own, but if not, then they may post the necessary context here to
try to get help. This is a programming topics newsgroup, and so if you're
not the programmer involved with the code there's not much we can do to
help, especially with an exception as general-purpose as the one you're
seeing.
