NERO vs burning your DVD

It has been posted many places that NERO will burn DVD's. SORRY. NOT TRUE.
It MAY but you have to have the right variant to do so.
SO
Open Nero, but really open the NERO InfoTool. and BANG it tells you
EVERYTHING Nero can or cant do based on your computer system and the version
of Nero you have.

Saves lotta time and frustration.

Absolutely correct.
The biggest reason that many people have versions of Nero that don't include
"Nero Vision Express" (the subprogram needed to create a DVD) is that they
are working wither with the free trial download which doesn't include NVE or
a free version that comes shipped with the computer or DVD burner. Sometimes
the version with a computer or DVD burner does include NVE but usually not.
Why would Nero want the program given away when they sell it?

Interestingly enough, I use a USB DVDRW drive external on both computers.
If it is NOT connected and fired up, that NERO InfoTool will tell me that my
(standard DVD/CDRW drive) does not burn DVD's, which is of course the way it
should work...
