Nero OEM & XP

Just recently built new computer. First time using Nero OEM (came wit
mobo) to burn a DVD, I got a message essentially stating 'Nero ha
found a system problem that requires attention. The options were t
fix the problem or continue at own risk. My mistake (again) was t
click the fix button. My computer refuses to boot. I only get th
start-up screen from the motherboard. I really have not performed muc
investigation yet as I've just finally resolved some othe
incompatability issues. Does this sound like a registry issue?

Since, by your own admission, your computer worked until you allowed Nero to
"fix" it, your problem was caused by Nero's "fix".

Since Nero is neither Windows XP nor a Microsoft product, feel free to seek
support from Nero.
