Nero 7 and large icons

After the latest nero update to 7.10, my large desktop iconsetting starts
large then turns small. Anyone else experience this?

I notice when I log into my desktop, my icons enlarge then return to their
normal size.

I cannot find a pattern on mine for this behaviour. I cannot do anything to
get them back to the large size that I have set. I remember when I first
installed Nero, there was a problem with smartstart being just an outline
with large fonts. I have sent an inquiry to Nero tech support.
