Neen help linking a picture.

I am trying to create a link to a map, which is stored as a file in my front
page files. Whenever I click on the link, microsoft office picture manager
comes up. Is there something I should be doing in the picture manager? I
tried changing the program the file starts with, but it only gives me a list
of other graphics programs I have on my computer. Any suggestions?

Not really sure what you are trying to achieve:

1. are you trying to create a hyperlink on a web page
that when clicked displays the picture file that is your
map, or

2. are you trying to create a hyperlink from the picture
file of your map displayed on a web page that will go
another page?

You can create a hyperlink in either case by right
clicking or using the menu to Insert | Hyperlink. These
actions start from a web page that is within your Front
Page disk based web.

As I reread your question, perhaps you are trying to
create a hyperlink from the listing of files in Front
Page. Don't

Rick, Thanks for answering.
Well, sometimes just shutting off the computer and going to bed solves a lot
problems. I have inherited a website and need to up date it. I checked the
site this morning and the links are working, but I am still having a problem
within Front Page. There are directions to a meeting place and after the
directions is [map]. When I click on it I get an error message. " The file
is not in the correct format for Microsoft access project." (Since the
program was originally written by a guy who has a Mac, I doubt if it was
written with anything to do with access)
