Microsoft Office Picture Manager

L

Lawrence Beyer

I accidentally sent while composing.
I don't even know what I did wrong!

On my computer:
Programs >
Microsoft Office >
Microsoft Office Tools (&) Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003
And following Microsoft Office Tools >
Microsoft Office Picture
Manager

FrontPage 2003 is the only Office product I ever bought and
installed, so all those Microsoft Office Tools (including Picture
Manager) must have come with FrontPage.

I have been using Paint and Picture Manager to construct my
graphics which I store in My Documents. I then use JAlbum
and import them into FrontPage.

I have never seen Microsoft Office Picture Manager mentioned
here. The advice is to modify your graphics (various programs
are mentioned) before importing to FrontPage, and never use
FrontPage to modify graphics. From my understanding, Picture
Manager is part of Microsoft Office Tools, and not part of
FrontPage.

Am I doing something wrong by using Picture Manager, and
why is it never mentioned?

Because MOPM is very basic, although useful at times. Nothing wrong with
using it.

Checkout IrFanview for optimizing, resizing and batch conversions...amazing
little program...and free. But, it's not a true image editor either.
