XP Pro system with mirrored drives...

Virus ate away allot of the Windows and System32 DLL's...

Prorogated virus to the mirrored drive (useless)...

Error returned was something like System DLL's missing or corrupt - all
documentation suggested doing an inplace install...

What I did:

Broke the mirror and did a complete install of Windows XP with all the
service packs - I then over wrote all the files (not sub folders) in the
second drive from the newly created Windows and System32 folders. I then
made the second drive the primary drive and it now boots up but with the
following error:

A Problem is Preventing Windows from Accurately Checking the License for
this Computer 0x80004005

I've exhausted every available solution found in a web page... I hope
someone out there has another solution that does not consist of a rebuild.

Thank you!

Go to start/run, and type: regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll
OK, then when you get the successful message then type:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

If that didn't work, have you looked at this article?
