I need to write zeros to me hard drive and start over, I tried to just reinstall it over again but it's running EVEN slower now. in heed of a pro........

Did you use the windows cd to format the hard drive first? If you did and want to wipe it totally out you can buy a program called Wipe Drive. It will totally wipe it clean, but it takes about 8 hrs. to do this. The windows cd should format it so you can reinstall with no problems. Look at this site for help: http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/windowsxp_sg_clean.as

i"m useing the o.s. that came with the system but its even slower then it was before,I;m thought i would reinstall the o.s. because i couldn;t get win updates for like three months.but now its going SLOWER and FREEZING up MORE now what should i do??????????????????????????????????????

WERE can i buy a gost cd at that will be at a good price,??????????????????????????????????????????

first of all, what kind of HD are you trying to zero
out?
western digital drives come with a floppy that has a
program to do exactly what you say,"write zeros to the
drive", and it will wipe any information on the drive as
well, in doing so.

once complete you should "format", then go ahead with a
fresh install.
