need to re-install MSI for XP

I have windowsXP and I cannot install a program because
an error message always pops up. The company suggested my
windows installer program (or the MSI) may be corrupted,
so it should be reinstalled.. I've searched for it in
downloads but they don't have MSI available for XP. Can
anybody help me? Thanks! You can also e-mail me.

Did anyone ever help you with re-installing MSI? I am having the sam
problem. I need it to re-install Norton Anti-virus. No one knows wha
to do...I had a computer guy come in, Microsoft, Dell, Symantec...
PLEASE tell me how you fixed your problem..
