Need to extract a narration from a PPT file. Is there any way?

I spent over an hour recording narration for a PPT file, thinking I had the
settings right and it would save the narration into a separate file, however,
I was wrong and it embedded the narration into the PPT file itself. This
ballooned the original 8MB file up to 34MB!! There is definitely something
wrong with that, but that's for another thread.
What I need now is the instructions for extracting the sound files so I can
make them accessible separately. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Nah, we can deal with it here. When you start recording the narration you want
to be sure to choose the Link option, otherwise PPT embeds the sounds.

What Glen said.

But keep in mind that it won't be one big file, it'll be a series of WAV files,
one per slide.
