Matching "Narration" WAV files to PPT Slide order

I have some large PowerPoint presentations with Narration for each slide.
In some cases, the narration is present as separate linked WAV files, in
other cases the narration is integrated within the ppt file. My question
is - how can I find out which WAV file corresponds to which PowerPoint
slide? I know I can use the "Save as Web Page" facility to create WAV files
for each slide, but even then the numbers on the sound files don't always
correspond to the order of slides, especially if narrations have been
re-recorded several times. Is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks,
Mike

In the custom animation task bar the file name is given (at least if it
is a linked file). It might take a long time, but you can always
write down which file goes with which slide.

Thanks Pete. I take it by this that there is no automatic way of doing
this, and no way at all if one first has to use "Save as Web Page" to
extract WAV files in the first place?
