need new version of Virtual Machine

I'm even sure I've gotten the right department for this
question, but will try anyway. I just got a new pc it's a
Compaq Presario Pentium 3 ..XP PRO.. my old one was
Windows 98. I have been going to 1 chatroom for the past
3 years. When I got my pc set up, I tried to go into it
and a box comes up telling me that I am running an
earlier version of Virtual Machine and that I need to
download the newer virson of Virtual Machine and for me
to go to Microsoft Security Updates. Which I did and
download the Pack1 except for the two that you have to
download seperately. I then tried to get into the
chatroom again and I still get the same message. Can you
tell me if I downloaded the Virtual Machine when I done
the updates or is there something else that I need to do
so I can go back in that room. I plan on downloading the
other 2 that have to be done seperately today. Any help
would be appreciated. Sincerely Donnie

Download & install MS Virtual Machine Build 3805.
Then visit the Windows Update website to obtain the
security updated version (Build 3810).

I ran into a similiar problem a few months back. My
solution was to go directly to Sun Microsystems and get
the Java. Microsoft itself had a news release some time
back saying they would stop supporting Java altogether in
the future due to liscencing issues. Don't know if that
changed or not.

Try: www.sun.com Click on the red button on the
lower right that says something like "Get Java
Technology..." this will install the Java for you.

Hope this helps.
