I have install a trial version of windows xp media center edition 2005. Now,
i've lost all my installed programs. How I can restore my windows xp or
recover my programs? The trial version is in English, I'm french. Can I
found a french patch? Thanks for your answer.

Because WinXP MCE is an OEM product, it cannot perform the upgrade
installation that would have been necessary to preserve/maintain your
installed applications. Further, it's not technically possible to
upgrade from one language version of Windows to another language version.

What you'll need to do is boot from your original WinXP installation
CD, format the hard drive (as I presume you didn't place the WinXP MCE
installation on a separate partition), and reinstall your applications.
Be sure to backup/copy any important personal data to a CD or other
removable storage before proceeding.

Well, in that case:

To remove WinXP MCE, simply format the partition on which it's
installed, and edit C:\Boot.ini to remove the dual-boot option. This
process shouldn't affect the WinXP installation on the other partition.

To maintain the dual-boot and use your applications in WinXP MCE,
simply install them (those that are compatible with the language
version, anyway) under WinXP MCE.
