Unintalling one version of windows xp

I have my own version of windows xp installed on my computer which works fine
but I have also installed a bootlegged, French version as well, which I want
to get rid of. I was trying to get French spellcheck but the whole thing
loaded onto my computer. When I switch on my computer I have the choice of
either running my English version or the French one. Both versions work
fine, I just don't want two! Any advice on how to solve this would be much
appreciated!
