there is way to much stuff starting when computer starts
would like to clear and only have windows start bunch of
stuff i have no idea what it is

If they're regular programs, you should be able to remove them from the Startup folder in All Programs. Just right-click them and click Delete. If they're in the Notification area (the right end of the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen, by the clock), they each have their own way of being removed. The only advice I have is to right-click each one, open whatever looks useful on the pop-up menu, and explore

Start....run...msconfig.exe

This is a dangerous area...don't mess around in here too much...but the last
item is Startup. Click off the ones you don't want...you can always go back
and click them back on if you so decide. Lots of this stuff is spyware that
gets loaded when you surf.
