Need help with sending emails.

Hello, I can't seem to get the Windows Mail working. When I try to send an
email, it states that I have an error with the servers. I used POP3 and
SMTP. I just brought a new laptop and wanted to create an acct for Windows
Mail. Also is asking for log in information.
Please help.

US- and CA-based Yahoo accounts cannot be used in Windows Mail unless you're
a Yahoo Plus ($20/year) subscriber.

"POP3" and "SMTP" are not proper server names. Your post indicates you may
be using Yahoo as an email provider. Correct? If not, who do you get your
email service from? If it IS Yahoo, do you have a paid Yahoo Plus account?
Windows Mail can only work with Yahoo Plus accounts, free Yahoo accounts
won't directly work.

Free Yahoo.com or Yahoo.ca may work with Windows Mail if you sign
up with Yahoo!Delivers:

You might not like what Yahoo!Delivers delivers though.
