Need Help with Outlook Folders

L

Levi

I am new to Outlook, having nearly retired and setting up my home PC for
some future business oriented venture. I used Outlook Express before for
personal email and Lotus Notes for business. I am switching because I want
the integrated address and tasks functions.

I set-up Outlook and it imported all my personal info from Outlook Express.
Then I did something wrong and the same folder "Levi's Folders" shows up
three times. Two have a + box by them and when I open them they all have
exactly the same sub-folders and email as the top one in the list.

I tried Microsoft help and they can help if there were different info in
these folders, but mine all tie back to "Outlook.pst" on my hard drive.

Any assistance to get rid of the two duplicates would be helpful.

Thanks,
Levi

If they are indeed duplicates, just highlight each one and delete.

You're corrupted your mail profile. The first thing to try is File>Data
File Management and try to remove the duplicates there. If that doesn't
work, you'll need to create a new mail profile in Control Panel's Mail
applet. Click Show Profiles>Add and use the Data Files button to point the
new profile at your existing PST.
