I've spent hours trying to set-up my e-mail account, with no luck. I got a
new laptop w/Vista Home Premium. When setting up the email account, I'm
asked, what are your incoming servers and outgoing servers. I put in POP3
and SMTP, but id did not work. I am totally frustrated. Can someone pls.
help me and let me know, what I'm not doing right? Many thanks in advance. I
wish Microsoft would make it easier to set up an email account.

Your exclusive e-mail POP3 and SMTP settings are available from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Visit your ISP's support web site for assistance.

it is not microsoft responsibility to set up your email accounts.
since very ISP has different settings and there is no way to know which ISP you are using.
contact the internet provider or access their web pages for information on how to set up the POP and SMTP information.
