Need help to remove defiant printing program

When trying to uninstall Lexmark printing program it says
it's in the middle of a printing job that it's not. There
is communication between printer and computer. Did the
unplug/replug of power and USB cable, turned off computer
and printer for an hour and restarted-no help. Is the
program hiding? I want it killed, gone, terminated,
erased and expunged off my computer. Lexmark tecks can't
seem to help. Tried Sure Delete and it gave error
message. Help.

A wild guess. Check your printer for its own memory of
tasks in process and clear if possible.
