need help setting up wireless printer with new notebook

i recently purchased a new dell inspiron 6000 notebook computer with all the
works. in keeping with the wirless theme, i purchased a wireless
u.s.robotics router and print server.
i went thru the setup wizard cd that came with my all in one hp printer, and
it is connected to my router... but what does it take to get me up and
printing? i cannot get a single page to come out. what other settings need
to be checked in the notebook? it is set for default printer... but i do not
think the computer knows to send the signal wirelessly.
