Hello to you

Question? how do I proceed to removed all network connections and
configuration with it,

The system has already function. At the time of my original startup, the
configuration was don alone while following the installation instructions of
' ' NETWORK SETUP WIZARD' ',

Here is my problem with my two computer network

the first; The XP with a Internet modem + network connected on router
NETGEAR DS104
The second ; 98 SE also connected on the router
---my XP could then have access to the 98SE and my 98SE could be connected
to Internet through the XP modem but was not able to connect on the XP ,
--I never had to connect my router to Browser, nor have heard of ` URL ` for
my router---

Now nothing function any more, I tried to make new network connections with
a different name and a differing workgroup with ` NETWORK SETUP WIZARD' '
I also tried corrected manually change it address ‘’IP’’ of the connections
But... nothing both computers no longer communicates any more in no way,
neither by the router, nor by with a cross wire of communication

The XP computer is fairly new, and don’t have to much info on it
but I added SP2 in it and now cant seem to reinstall XP from CD anymore

Now a little discourage, I’m trying to reset it all to zero and to start
again, removing all local network and the configuration from my PC.
Now, I’m try to find how to remove them completely, could you help me or
indicates to me were i could find this information

Thanks Eric

Eric,

You can un install Client for Microsoft Windows Networks, and File and Printer
Sharing for Microsoft Networks, from Local Area Connection Properties.

You can reset TCP/IP, but you can't un install it.
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=299357

Start - Run - "cmd". Type "netsh int ip reset c:\netsh.txt" into the command
window.

Here's a good reference on file sharing between Win98 and WinXP (and other
flavours of Windows):

Hi and thanks Chuck,

i have been looking for that for the last 2 week's
and it seem to have worked, this should be in the ''HELP & SUPPORT''
now trying to push my luck a little farther,
would you have the same command line for the 98SE as the > Start - Run -
"cmd".
as it does not seem to recognize it

just post even if you don’t as ill know to look elsewhere

Tanks Eric

Eric,

Try "command" instead of "cmd". Or see if you can find a command window (MS-DOS
window) under Programs - Accessories.
