Ok This one time I accidently deleted a system 32 files and when
started my PC nothing would come up except a black screen that sai
"missing C:windows/system32/..." and to put xp cd to install it.
have no windows XP cds so I thought I just screwed up my comp. I kep
rebooting the PC and started pressing any F1-f12 (im a noob) then
dont know what I did but this blue screen menu that sorta looks lik
the boot menu came up and it said repair xp. How do I get to tha
screen again?

Then I repaired xp and I was able to use my comp again. Is this optio
like reinstalling xp? Because it asked me if I wanted to keep any file
or delete everything

Chances are what you accessed was the restore partition that the
manufacturer of your computer placed on the HD because he gave you no copy
of XP.By doing this you were able to restore/fix your problem. The
Manual...thick stapled together pages of paper with writing on
them......should explain to you how to do this.If you cannot find this
manual try doing the same thing you did last time .........it seemed to
work.
The repair feature usually leaves all of your settings intact and sets the
files back to a newly installed version of XP...updates will need to be
redone.
The other option most likely was a full clean install wiping everything off
the HD and setting the system back to when you first purchased it.
