Hello Everybody,

I'm about to upgrade my PC and I want to move all my data to a new hard
drive.

Which is the best, secure and fastest way to backup my hard drive?

1. Copying data to a CD-R
2. Using a program like Ghost to image the hard drive

Which method is bets and which programs should I use?

Any help, comments, opinions would be appreciated

I suggest you put in your new hard drive, install windows on it, then put in
your new one as either primary slave or secondary master. When you're done,
just copy all your data over to your new drive.

Partitioning your new drive is a good idea too, keeps it more organised, and
if you're unable to start windows you can format c: and reinstall without
worrying about your data on another parition.
