Was this Microsoft Access database data? If so, you're out of luck.
If you're talking about other types of data, please post your question
in a newsgroup for the version of Windows that you're running.
Depending on how you "restored", you have a *slim* chance. If you
restored by reformatting your hard disk, your data is irretrievably
gone; if you just reloaded Windows, you might have a chance.
Assuming you are talking about an Access database, and assuming you are
talking about no longer seeing the files after you open Access and look at
the bottom of the File menu (or other possible locations) and see the
recently used file list is now empty; then you need to educate yourself
about where your files are. They are not located on those list, they are
likely exactly where they have always been. You will likely run into the
same problems with other programs as well.
Use the Window's Find feature and look for any file with the mdb file
extension. (Note: some of those will by system files you don't recognize,
just leave them alone)
