Reem,

Are both computers running Windows XP, or other systems too? If XP, is it XP
Home or Pro? If Pro, is it with Simple File Sharing enabled or disabled? All
of this makes a big difference. Read this article, and come back with
questions.

Hi Chuck,
I read the article ........
both pc are Windopws XP prof and with simple file sharing enable ,what i
faced here is :

when i try to log in to the second pc, a log in window prombt me for a
username and password . in the other hand ,the second computer can see my
shared folder but when he try to access one of them an error message said
that he does not have the permission to do this operation even he have a full
control permission on these shared folders......both pc's without any
password and we access as an adminstrator with the same workgroup.

how can we both access our shared folder and how can i take this log in
window out ?!

Reem,

With Simple File Sharing, the Guest account has to be activated.

Where are the shared folders? Note the limitations of Guest authentication!

You also may have a browser problem (no I'm not talking about Internet
Explorer). Please provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely:
