Need help getting new computer connected to home network

I just bought my daughters two emachines desktops. Both are running
WinXP Home and I'm having trouble getting them to see shared files on
the home network. I can ping other machines on the network and I can
get to the internet on the new machines. I expand Entire Network ->
Microsoft Windows Network -> Mshome and get the following dialog box
error:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mshome is not accessible. You might not have permissions to use this
network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find
out if you have access permissions.

The list of servers forthis workgroup is not currently available.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The workgroup on all machines is: MSHOME. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Robert

Have disabled the XP firewall on the new machine and still unable to
see any machines in the MSHOME workgroup. This time, no error, just
don't see anything. Other suggestions?

BTW, I get the same behavior when I use one of the existing machines
and try and look for the new machine.

Thanks.
