need help finding a program that displays photos on the desktop

I've tried Yahoo's Picture Frame that is part of their Widgets program,
but I don't like it because the minium delay interval between pictures
is one minute. I prefers to cycle pictures every 7-8 seconds.

I've also tried the Photos applet that is part of Google Desktop, but
it crashes fairly frequently. It is a beta program so I can't complain
too much...

Can anyone recommend a program similar to the above two
but is reliable and can be set to display photos every 7-8 seconds?

have a look at Picasa 2 available at
http://picasa.google.com/download/ it is a program for managin
your photos . You can create slide shows with the timing you like a
well as the ability to burn your photos to cd
It is a free program
