need fax set up instructions

I would like to set up the fax option on windows xp, but
can't find my cd rom. Does anyone know if these
instructions can be downloaded from the internet - or does
anyone have any information which might help me?

Once I'v managed to do this, will it be worth it, or is
fax a troublesome option?

No you cannot download the files from the internet, you must have your CD.
If XP came preinstalled on your PC, contact the PC manufacturer for a new
CD.

They cannot be dowloaded, only from the XP CD. And yes fax works great for
me. If you have Operating system backed up on hard drive you can install
the Fax.
