need disk

a friend installed W2k for me awhile ago, everything
worked fine for the longest time but recently i get window
opening telling me i can't continue unless i insert the
w2k disk, which i don't have. the friend who installed it
is gone and no one else i know has it.is there anyway to
get it??
I do have w98 but am uncertain if installing that is the
right thing or actually what i need to do to install it.
any help would be muchly appreciated.

You need to go buy a copy of W2K.

so basically you have a thieved win2k disk, you are NOT
the sharpest knife in the drawer by posting that on Mr.
Bill's website. instead of using thieved software go do
the right thing and BUY a copy on what you need.
