Need component specification for "L 51" on A7N8X-E Deluxe

Hi,

I had a short curcuit on my A7N8X-E Deluxe Board and the component
named "L 51" burned out.
Can anyone give me the specification for this component.
Component "L 51" is next to the "MODEM 1" connector (in the
bottom-left corner of the board, if the PS/2 Mouse connector is in the
top-left corner).

Thanks a lot!

PS: The effect of burning "L 51" is that the analog audio output does
not work (while the digital output works).

| +------- This looks like the inductor, as it reads
| very close to zero ohms. It has no EIA code
| on it.
+------- This one could be a filter cap. I read 40 ohms
across here, but that could be the resistance of
the power supply I am reading.

As neither part has an EIA marking on it, it is hard to tell what
they are.

You could replace the inductor with a piece of wire, in which case
the filtering effectiveness would be reduced. Try listening to the
ALC650 audio, with just a wire in place, and perhaps the 78M05
regulator has enough noise rejection to filter out supply noise.
(And be sure you know which device is the inductor, as shorting
the supply will pop a track for sure.)

If that doesn't work, just find the largest surface mount inductor
that will fit in the space. The part next to the right hand leg
of the 78M05, looks to be an 0805.

The ALC650 datasheet lists VA current consumption at +5V operation
as 88ma typical (no maximum value listed). So, if selecting an
inductor, you'd probably want a current rating of >100mA.

You can find Panasonic surface mount inductors listed on the
Digikey site. Say, maybe a 100nH PCD1172CT-ND on this page.

Sorry I cannot help out more than that.
