Need button to download file for customers... how?

I must just be stupid, i need a button to down load a file from the server to
the customers machine ??

Actually, to be 100% correct you do not "need a button". So, I am being
pedantic, but I am not picking on you.

Any file that you want to be downloaded will automatically initiate a
download on the customer's machine when clicked on.

To cover my tracks, I guess I should define "file that you want to be
downloaded". Here, I am a little unsure, but I *think* it is any file except
..htm, .html, .jpg - there are probably others.

Anyway a .zip file will definitely initiate a download, so try that
