Need a program to run my Scanner

I do a lot of scannings, I use a Lexmark All in one, the program that comew
with the machine is tedious. Is there an alternative program availble? where
can I find a simple program to run my scanner? thanks for your help.

HP scanners are nice and have a simple user interface

MS Office has a document scanning program and also an OCR facility. It works
with my Canon scanner as an alternative to the Scan-Gear tool box that came
with it.

If it's drivers provide it an industry-standard TWAIN interface, then
you should be able to use almost any scanning program with your
all-in-one, MAYBE. There is no absolute yes or no.

You WILL have to use the drivers provided by HP though.

current XP drivers for you All-in-One. The driver installation should also
come with software for scanning to
