NEC Chipset Bridges

My USB Port has a SiS 7001 USB Chipset. It is not
compatable with my Visioneer One Touch 8920 scanner. Is
there a system patch to make these work together?

Probably not.

Got to BestBuy and for less than $20 you can get a USB 2.0 card that should
work with your scanner.
