correction Ron... it's not the Run prompt. It's the "Find" or "Search" box
as stated in the link you supplied. A more complete cleanup can use any of
the following:

- just cut & paste:

*.tmp, *.~mp,*._mp, *.gid,*.fts, *.ftg,*.chk, *.syd,*.---, *.$$$,*.prv,
*.old,*.bak, *.dmp,*.??~, ~*.*,*.$*, *.~*,~*.*, *.$DB,*.DB$, *.cdr_,*.wbk,
*.xlk,0???????.nch, chklist.*,mscreate.dir, *.#Res,*.@@@, *.cdr_
