Navigation pane

MS Outlook 2007

On top of the Navigation pane on the LHS, I had a pane where I could drag my
favorite folders (i.e. Inbox, Outbox, Sent Items, Search Folders I use),
however they seemed to have disappeared.

Resolved the problem by Selecting View > Navigation Pane, and, although
initially the Favorite Folders option was not being displayed, the Favorite
Folders appeared after a while.

View > Navigation Pane > Favorite Folders (ensure it is checked)

That's Favorite Folders. Go to View | Navigation Pane and see if
"Favorite Folders" is checked.
