Navigation linked bars and frames

Jeff

I am trying to add a linked bar associated with my
navigation structure to a page with frames. Seems like I
have to associate it with one of the frame pages. When I
click on the linked bar (like the home button) I want to
go to the Home page. Instead, it is putting the home
page in the target frame. How do I put a linked bar on a
page that has frames? How do I make sure that the result
of a click on a button on the linked bar moves me to that
page?

FP Navigation components are not meant to be used with frames, used shared
borders instead of frames or manually create your navigation.

So....if I create a page with frames...list on one side
and target on the other, I can't even place a single
button on the page to go 'Home'? Seems kind of odd!

You can use images that you create in a graphics application or retrieve
from a theme, you just can use actual FP navigation components, i.e.,
LinkBar, NavBar (Navigation View)

I finally was able to get linked bars, based upon the
navigation structure, to work within frames!! Take a
look at the following URL
http://wwg.jeffswooddesigns.com

Click on 'Woodworking Tips' and 'Discussion' to see what
I'm talking about. I use a linked bar within the frame
and am able to navigate around the site.

Great and good luck!
