Navigation button graphics not always showing?

Created a website in Frontpage. When it's upoloaded the navigation buttons
don't always appear. In general it's the home button and the current page
button that have no graphics. They do still work though.....

How are you uploading it? You should be using File, Publish Site. If you
are, go to the publish options and check All Pages to make sure all the
graphics are getting published. Also, make sure you've imported all the
images into your web before publishing.

I am uploading it using FileZilla. When I say graphics I really mean the
Theme satin which is a standard FrontPage theme so the importing isn't an
issue? I hope...

You need to upload the hidden theme and border folders, etc. or use FP to upload if it will work
with your web host's FTP server.

Thanks, David: I do use File/Publish Site and I review the published
file to see All Pages are being published and I do make sure I import
all images into my web before publishing. I'm careful about 'publish'
since I've had to recreate the web when I got it in such bad shape
I couldn't figure out how to fix it <big smile>. I'm not anxious to
go back and do that again.

Ouch. I think these are hidden from me too. How do I go about
uploading them to the server, if I ever find them to upload? I
can use FTP to upload to the Server as long as I let Joey(the
server provider) know first. He won't be back for 2 weeks.
This won't mess up the Server extensions? Could you tell me
where the names of my hidden theme and/or border folders
might be? Sorry to ask such dumb questions, but I have no
idea of what the names are or where they are located. Can
you help, somehow?

Please forgive my prior post on this subject... I got the wrong line
when I posted my response to a question of my own. I'm sorry
for the confusion.

If the live/remote site has the FP extensions, never use FTP to upload content to the site.

This is where the FP server ext come in handy - FP knows what files it needs
(with regards to themes, etc) and transfers *every file* (including those in
hidden folders and the like) it needed for using themes. Using FTP is of
course a manual process and you need to know what files you have to upload.

I think even the FTP mode in FP does this 'file tracking' to some extent,
but not sure about that.
