NAV stopped working

Hello All!

I have a very aggravating problem with Norton AV 2003!

Auto Protect does not enable and Email States "Error"

I followed all the steps provided by Symantec to clear this problem but
nothing helped.

Even after a deleting NAV and reinstalling I have the same exact problem. I
used the uninstall tool provided by Symantec and still had the problem after
reinstall.

My Subscription to the Virus defs runs out in February and I installed AVG
because I couldn't install Norton AV.

I'm running 2000 Pro as my OS.

I also ran MacAfee online scan and came up clear and AVG states I'm Virus
free.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
