NAV problem

I had this problem with NAV 2003, and then 2004. I install the
program, update it, and it works fine. For a day or so. Then I
notice that my little icon is gone on the tray. I go to the program
and auto-protect is off and there is an error with e-mail scanning. I
go over to the Symantec site, and it tells me that the registry
entries have become corrupted and that I should uninstall and
re-install. This happens over and over. I was wondering if my
anti-spybot software could be doing this. I'll have to run some
tests. But if it isn't this, has any one else encountered this
problem? Thanks.

I can't remember where i read it but norton and M$ were supposed to be
jumping in bed together so it would stand to reason that norton would
set their software to be more desireable to windoz and it's required
software.

Had not heard that but it does not come as a suprise. Homeland Security
just tagged an ex-Symantic wig to run their security program. Everybody
knows that the Fed's are in bed with Micro$oft and that is why they allow
all the faults continue with the Micor$oft programs. Hell, Micor$oft is
probably backdooring you right now and forwarding everything to BigBorther.

I find that lining my hat each day with aluminium foil helps.
