I have installed NAT on a windows 2000 server connected to the internet. When I use a browser on the server I can connect to the internet but when I do the same on the client it is not working. When I type the name of the website running on the server at the client I can connect to the website ok. When I use the trace command on the client I can connect to any host on the internet.

I do not understand why the browser is not working and the trace command is working ok. It seems als that the DNS resolution is working ok because I see the ip in the status balk of the client??

Who can help I am working on it for days no

Thank you but it is not helpin

I have configured the clients according to the instructions but that is not helping. I used the IPCONFIG to print the IP configuration of the server and the client and that looks ok.

-At the client site I can connect (using the brouwser) to the server and to the website running on the server but not tp websites on the internet
-at the client site I see in the status balk of the IE the DN resolution working but after that I have no connection to the site
-At the client site the tracert is working ok an connect to the server and to the interne

-At the serversite I can perform all operations normaly
