Hello
I am working on a problem and wanted to see if you had any insight on how to solve it. I am trying to setup a NAT server on a Windows 2000 Server and I am unable to connect to the internet from my client computer. I am able to connect to the internet from my NAT server and I can ping the server from my client as well as ping the external IP address on the server from my client and resolve the names of websites from my client but I am unable to ping the addresses of websites from my client. I have tried setting this up with a dial up connection as well as with a cable modem and I get the same problem. I tried changing the filters on the translator as well. The translator is set up to translate and I have set up a static route that points to the default gateway which I have setup as the internal address on my NAT server. I have followed all of the instructions on Technet for setting up a NAT. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you
