Narrations clipped in PowerPoint presentation

Hi,

I''ve recorded some narrations to go with each slide in my PowerPoint
presentation. I've set it up so that the files are linked rather than
embedded. My problem is that the end of each narrative are being clipped -
sometimes quite substantially. I'm using a MAC. Has any body got any ideas
how to remedy this?
