n-scan and power scan

N-Scan appears to be a port scanner and Power Scan may be a program to
scan the stock market. I got this information from Google, your first
source of information. If neither of these functions sounds like
something you installed, I'd uninstall the programs from Add/Remove
Programs. Then be sure you are running a current (post-2002 version
using updated definitions) antivirus and scan with it.

n-Case is a form of spyware. Two products that are quite
effective at finding and removing such scumware are Ad-Aware from
www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search and Destroy from
http://security.kolla.de/. Both have free evaluation versions.
