Mysterious Icon Keeps Appearing On My Desktop

I wonder if anyone here might know what is causing this.
It first appeared after I had a new hardrive installed and then my software
re-installed.

It looks like a small icon of paper with a window in the middle and this
sign ~ under it. The top corner is
folded down like one might do while saving a place in a
book.

I clicked on properities and it says,
C:\Documents and Settings\Vicki\Deskt

I have trashed it numerous times and it keeps appearing.

Oh, one more thing. Everytime I use Spysweeper
my IE shortcut keeps disappearing.
I wrote tech and ask them why this happens
and no one has responded. Has anyone else had this happen? It isn't a big
deal, except I am abit concern
the program itself might disappear next.

It's actually a backup copy of your address book and can be safely
deleted. It's a known bug that appeared after one of the windows
updates. Not sure if there's any cure for it or not.

I have the same icon that appears on mine also but I cant be of any help to you, I just wanted ya to know I have the same icon with the ~ under it thats says Terrys/Desktop

It was puzzling to me. I hate not understanding why something out of the
ordinary is occuring on my computer.
